Production Glue reached out on behalf of the National Basketball Association (NBA), asking us to provide infrastructure and engineered barriers for the restart of the 2020 NBA season; the bubble. The requirement for CommuniLux, as part of the overall InProduction project, was to build clear barriers to protect the safety of the players and members of the scorer’s table, media platforms and other critical locations placed courtside. The plexi barriers had to be at least 7’ in height and accommodate and integrate with all the equipment courtside including LED walls courtside.
